We’re really excited to be making our first visit to An Event Apart this August – and a first time blowing into The Windy City too.
Long-time listeners, first-time callers
As regular, long-time readers of A List Apart and ardent followers of the A Book Apart books, going to one of the An Event Apart conferences has been an ambition for many years. We had hoped they might take their show to the UK at some point and save us a few quid... but eventually we decided that if the mountain won’t come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain.
There’ll be two days of sessions from twelve speakers focusing on digital design, UX, content, code, and more. After the conference comes a full day, A Day Apart, with a single speaker diving deeply into one important topic – in our case, Gerry McGovern on User Experience.
We’re really looking forward to the event and to hopefully making some new friends there, too.
